You'll Love the Newly Redesigned and Reengineered Honda Accord

The new 2018 Honda Accord has redesigned and reengineered. The 10th generation Accord not only benefits from stylistic changes inside and out, but also functional and mechanical upgrades that significantly affect performance and handling.

New Powertrain | 2018 Accord Ditches V6, Gains 6-Speed

The new Accord comes with two available engine choices: a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine making 192 horsepower and lb-ft of torque, or a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine making 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.

Three transmission options are available. Those interested in the Accord with the 192-horsepower engine get the choice of either a CVT or a six-speed manual (yes it really has three pedals, as opposed to a "manumatic"!) However, the manual is only available on the Accord Sport when equipped with the 192-horsepower engine. That being said, Accord drivers opting for the more robust 252 horsepower engine can get their Accord with a 6-speed regardless of trim. For the manually challenged or those who just prefer their car to shift for them, a brand new 10-speed automatic will also be available on these same models.

Contact or visit Fletcher Honda of Bentonville if you have any questions or concerns about the new Honda Accord. We hope to hear from you via phone or see you in person sometime soon!
